Shared platforms that put professional methodology in your team's hands.

NASAQ builds digital platforms for Saudi Arabia's non-profit sector and runs them in partnership with the organizations that use them, so knowledge and data stay inside the organization after any project ends.

The sector is growing, and its requirements with it.

Platforms

A platform enters development once the needs test is complete, its methodology is settled, and the sector has taken part in its design.

  • Development project management

An interactive platform in project management development

The tools portfolio platform: participants in the Project DPro development project management course applied the course tools to their own projects, and the supervisor followed their progress on a participant tracking dashboard.

    • Reference indicators for each field, chosen by the organization.

Four challenges that recur in daily work.

Observed through professional practice and needs analysis with organizations.

  • Knowledge walks out

Effect on the organizationSpecialized knowledge ends with the consulting contract, so the organization hires it again every cycle.

    Methodology that stays in-house

In NASAQ platformsTools that keep the methodology and the working framework inside the organization after the project ends.

  • Scattered data

Effect on the organizationBeneficiary and program data live in files and spreadsheets spread across staff.

    One record for every program

In NASAQ platformsOne record of programs and beneficiaries that reports are built on directly.

  • The cost of custom systems

Effect on the organizationThe organization carries the full cost of building a system that ages as soon as it is delivered.

    Cost shared across members

In NASAQ platformsA sector platform whose build and update cost is shared across its members.

  • Uneven output quality

Effect on the organizationThe quality of projects and reports changes with the experience of whoever prepared them.

    A common quality floor

In NASAQ platformsOne workflow inside the platform that sets a floor for the quality of every output.

The three tracks

Our platforms are organized in three tracks that cover an organization's core needs.

  • Institutional building

Governance, organization and compliance on record

Raising the organization's readiness in governance, internal organization and compliance, so its performance rests on documented, auditable procedures.

    Platforms in this track
The governance and compliance platform, and the operational performance platform.
    What the organization gets
The organization works by documented procedures and is ready for supervisory reviews without exceptional effort.
  • Impact

Programs designed on outcomes, and measured

Designing programs around outcomes, measuring the change they make in beneficiaries' lives, and managing them by what the measurement data shows.

    Platforms in this track
The social impact measurement and management platform, and the development project design platform.
    What the organization gets
A standing measurement framework inside the organization, and an impact report issued every cycle from its own data.
  • Sustainability and resource development

    Diverse income, well managed

Diversifying the organization's income and organizing how it is managed: income-generating social ventures, social investment opportunities, endowments and their yields and products, grants and partnerships.

    Platforms in this track
The social entrepreneurship platform, the social investment opportunities platform, the endowments and product marketing platform, and the grants and partnerships platform.
    What the organization gets
The organization manages its income sources in one place and tracks their returns and impact in its financial plan.

Partnership models

We work with organizations and supporting entities in four forms that differ in the partner's role.

  • Launch partner

For: Organizations and supporting entities in phase one

Takes part in designing the first platform and testing it on its programs, with priority in shaping its features and preferential access terms.

  • Platform development partner

For: A supporting entity or a group of organizations

Co-funds and co-designs a platform for a defined sector need; the platform is then made available to the sector.

  • Sponsoring entity

    For: Donors and grant-making foundations

Funds platform access for a group of organizations and follows the impact of its support on one aggregated dashboard.

  • Member organization

    For: Non-profit organizations

Subscribes to the available platforms according to its size and number of users, and receives updates and support within the subscription.

How to join

A walkthrough of the platform and its development stage, and the track that fits your need.

  2. Needs analysis

    One week

A working session to define the scope of use and its outputs.

  3. Agreement

    Two weeks

Both parties' commitments and the length of phase one.

  4. Setup and go-live

    One week

Setting up the organization's account and data, and training its team.

Request to join phase one

We are looking for partners with running programs the platform can be tested on, and the ability to give their team's time during development.

This request is stored on servers inside Saudi Arabia and used only to follow up on the partnership. Privacy policy
